I recently received a contingent job offer from this company, which was noticeably below the industry average. After expressing my interest, I inquired about the possibility of negotiating the terms. I sent a counteroffer via email, but their response was simply a reiteration of the original offer, with no acknowledgment of my request. Surprised by their lack of flexibility, I asked for additional time to consider the offer. After careful deliberation, I decided to accept the original offer, only to have it abruptly rescinded without explanation. This experience left me with the impression that their management is unprofessional and unwilling to engage in fair negotiations. It seems they are aware of their uncompetitive position in the industry and prefer to avoid addressing it. In hindsight, I’m relieved to have avoided working for a company with such questionable practices.
