I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in Jan 2024
Interview
Interview with the first hiring manager went very well and he was extremely friendly. It wasn’t until the second hiring manager arrived and I could already tell it was going to be rough. One question that stood out to me and negatively affected me throughout the interview was “so why are you in sales? Is rent due? If you’re not in sales for money then what’s your motive?”. It kind of seemed like he wanted me to say I applied for the money (which I didn’t.). At the end of the interview I wanted to lighten the mood and asked what he did outside of work and how he could balance both his lifestyle and work. He gave a 1 sentence answer with a rude tone and I asked him about 5-7 questions and he seemed disinterested and annoyed (fixing his glasses and looking away). I felt like I wasn’t given a chance compared to the first manager interviewing me.

Question 1
Why sales?
Tell me about yourself?
Are you comfortable with cold calling?
What was your biggest achievement in sales?
It was a very drawn out process with 5 rounds before the final. It was fairly simple and easy interview questions. Was even asked to do a role play sales call.
4 stage interview process. Was very great and they were very prompt with giving feedback after each interview. I have no complaints about their process at all. 2 of the interviews were phone. One was in person. One was zoom.

Question 1
What would you say to somebody that tells you “no I already have an advisor” to keep them on the line?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Aug 2025
Interview
They set up a phone interview with me and just spoke about the job opportunity and what you should be expecting. They got to know me a little and then said they would set up a time for the second interview but never got back to me.
