I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (San Mateo, CA) in Mar 2011
Interview
Interviewing here is interesting. You have play the game and play it there way to get an offer. Be careful in your first five minutes. First impressions matter a lot and they will make their decision within that time. About 5 1:1 interviews. Don't be cocky and you better drink Fisher coolade before you walk in. Say you want to start off at the bottom and work your way up type of stuff. Not technical at all but I'm guessing that mixing in some educated finance remarks wouldn't hurt. Just make sure you know wtf your talking about cause they will call you out and pin you in a corner with your head between your legs.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2021
Interview
The first phone interview lasted about 30 minutes. The interviewer talked a little about the company then asked behavioral questions (tell me about a time…) and why apply to Fisher.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Bloomington, IN) in Feb 2015
Interview
Phone call as first round interview and pre-screen. Then 2nd round need to fly to CA, they do NOT sponsor international students' working visa. I told the HR I am an international student, but I have OPT, she immediately changed her tone.
