I was invited for the interview. During the invitation, the company offered to pay for the travel expenses. Afterward when asked to submit for the reimbursement, for the expenses incurred, was told if I have it in writing they will pay for the expense other wise the will not pay. If a company which backs off on its own word, and does not keep its promises, is it really a company one would like to work for? The answer is NO.
They are aware that for an individual traveling long distances, in my situation it was 420miles away. And there are significant cost associated with it. A good company will recognize this and will gladly help for the cost.
