I reached out to a recruiter, who liked my resumé and scheduled me to speak with a current PM. The interview was very casual. We talked about product philosophy, my past experiences as a product owner, and other typical behavioral questions for a little over an hour. The PM was very friendly, and he told me that he really liked my answers and that they would like to bring me onsite as a next step. I waited for a week, then reached out to the recruiter, who did not respond. Three weeks later I got an email from the recruiter saying that the position had been filled by someone with more years of experience. I felt like this could have been communicated sooner.
