Round one was a recruiter screening. They were trying way too hard to sell the company while also ignoring any of the myriad negative topics brought up by reviews. My favorite was when they called their compensation package highly competitive and then began to insist that offerings like "unlimited" PTO were as good as the 5 weeks guaranteed that I got with my current employer and glossed over the fact that they have no 401k match. After this call they wanted me to do a one hour technical interview involving Leetcode style questions followed by several rounds of interviews. I don't mind being tested on my technical abilities but expecting me to take a technical interview before anyone on the team will even speak to me for a manager position seemed ridiculous. Considering the poor comp and consistency of the bad reviews I dropped out.
