My interview process with Flock Freight started off very positive. The recruiter was organized, professional, and easy to work with. The conversations with the director and the immediate team were also smooth and gave me a good sense of the role and the culture.
The experience changed during the final round with executive leadership. After completing six interviews in one week and receiving consistently positive feedback, including being told my skills and impressions were exceptional, the process ended because the team’s direction had shifted. It felt as though expectations in the final round were not fully aligned, and the level of time and commitment asked of candidates did not match the clarity provided about what the team was actually looking for.
I still appreciate the professionalism I experienced in the earlier stages, but there is room for improvement in setting consistent expectations and avoiding lengthy interview loops when priorities are still evolving.
