Interview
I made it to the third round interview. My first was a screening call with the recruiter. The next interview was an hour long with the hiring manager and was an in-depth deep dive into my previous experience. The next interview was with someone higher up and was more difficult. It included impromptu role play based on my answers to questions and requires you to think on your feet. Overall, I really enjoyed everyone I interviewed with and they seemed like cool people to work with.
The interview with the team leads was a pleasant experience and actually made me interested in working there. But once you get to the directors, all interests suddenly vanish when you get a weird vibe. Look around the office and you’ll see if you fit in or not. They seem to be looking for specific kinds of employees if you know what I mean. I didn’t believe the reviews here at first, until I experienced them. Past employees wrote horror stories about leadership, and I kinda understand.

Interview
Applied directly through the company website. Had one phone screen with Director of HR and then she immediately set me up with the Head of Sales. Throughout both conversations, they seemed to be excited about me. The Head of Sales told me that the Director of HR would reach out with next steps in 1-2 business days. I didn’t hear anything so I followed up. The Director of HR answers 5 days later saying that there will be an update at the end of the week. I followed up at the end of the week - nothing.Then the HR Director says that she is meeting with the Head of Sales and will let me know what the next steps are. I followed up a few days later - crickets. Fora is one of the most unprofessional companies I’ve interviewed at in my entire career. If the position is on hold, tell me. If you aren’t moving forward with my candidacy for XYZ reasons, tell me.
