I really wish the company can succeed since I share their mission, but the ignorant and aggressive attitude of the interviewer has gave me doubt. The second round of interviews are two 45 minutes ones combined in 1.30 hours, after I prepared whole weekend for it and took a morning off from my current job, my interview was canceled 30 minutes before. I felt okay so we rescheduled the interview to two days after, then first interviewer was late and showed up in a car, the first thing she said to me was' umm what you are applying to 'and she's going to turn her camera off, which I still felt okay. Then she asked me a question about a weekly dashboard, after I answered, she aggressively blamed me for relying on formula without thinking about customer journey such as what if customers cancel us in 6 months, I remained professional and argued that we are looking at a weekly dashboard, she then got mad and said why you limited yourself to 'weekly'? But she seems totally forgot during her driving that 'weekly' was her original question. The second question she gave me was related to customer retention, and that was when she aggressively claimed my answer were all wrong then told me the answer was I cannot solve this question because it was unsolvable with given information, even I told her at the beginning that we would need additional analysis and we should look for correlation but not causation. After the first round of interview, I waited 20 minutes in the meeting room, no one showed up for the second round. I then reached out and received their apology to tell me that it has to be rescheduled again. I basically wasted 9 hours for being stood up. The second interviewer was nice and asked me behavior questions. Overall, the HR team is very nice and responsive, but the interview process is definitely far from the mission with the fact that if you don't even respect a candidate, how can you let your customers feel like you are dedicated to help. I understand working at a start-up can be busy, but hope there could be a change since every candidate has his/her/their own schedule as well, and sincerely hope the company can do good.
