I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Frontpoint (Herndon, VA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Applied online. Got an email from recruiter. Recruiter was nice and friendly. Screened with some basic questions related to job. Setup phone interview with hiring manager. It went well. I was called for a 2 hr, 4 people face to face interview. It went well. This is where the process took a sharp turn. I was called in again for a case study. I was told that a panel of 6-7 people will have an active discussion and it wont be a formal presentation. It was kind of overwhelming. I kindly obliged. On the day of presentation, i was told many people couldn't make it to my presentation, i will be meeting 3 from panel team as before. I presented my material. I got a nascent reception with literally 0 quality questions asked. I was trying my level best to fill the silence. There was literally no "discussion" as to what I was presenting. I was called next day to let me know that they are not moving forward with me. I asked for some feedback on what went wrong, i got the most wierd answer in my entire life i.e. My analysis did not match the panel. It was supposed to be a discussion and not giving marks to an assignment (like school). If you dont know how to hire business analysis people, please dont waste candidate's time. Dont make candidates as your experimental playground.
We apologize for your awkward interview experience -- it was certainly less than ideal and not consistent with the type of candidate experience we strive to provide. You've given us extremely valuable feedback, and we will use it as we evaluate our interview process for this role.
