"We don't hire 'jerks'", is their motto, according to their director of front end engineering. The process goes as follows, an initial phone screen where you are asked mostly behavioral questions then sent a coding challenge. If you pass the coding challenge, you are invited in for a final interview. The company is almost fully staffed by socially maladjusted millennials. the interview was a breeze and they (supposedly) loved my solution to their coding test. Anyway, the final round interview was mostly silly css questions, basic javascript questions and a slew of Dunning Kruger behavioral questions, where they get to play psychiatrist with your answers, to determine if you are a 'jerk'. Instead of asking questions to get to know you as a human being, they ask corny behavioral questions to gauge how much of a 'jerk' you are. I guess I'm a 'jerk', as I can't think if any reason I wouldn't get an offer. I've had my time and money completely wasted dealing with these people. How about hop on a skype call so you can determine if you like the way I look or not? Why waste my time with a phone screen and coding test just to bring me in to ask questions you could have asked over the phone? Well thats life and I will remember their faces if the tables are ever reversed.
