I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at GOOP (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
I wanted to write a review after 2 very disappointing experiences with goop on 2 separate occasions. I originally interviewed in person (in LA) through a recruiter a couple of years ago now . I was told very positive feedback - that they weren't talking to anyone else so I was there top choice - and that the next step was to do a phone interview with an exec in NY. It was scheduled but then she had something come up and I was told she needed to reschedule. Needless to say after trying to follow up with my recruiter about it over the course of a few weeks this never got planned. I was simply forgotten.
Now even with that disappointing experience I was still extremely interested in a position with the company as I know they have grown significantly in 2 years.
I met 2 employees recently at a networking event. I wasn't clear at that time they actually had an opening. But got connected with them afterwards and was immediately asked if I would be interested in a position and asked if I could come in and meet the team the next week.
I was extremely excited and said yes and was told an HR person would be reaching out to schedule. I was never contacted. I followed up several times over the next few weeks with this hiring manager only to again be ignored every time. This is not ok or a way to treat potential candidates or people in general.
