The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GameStop in Oct 2011
Interview
Basically walked in with a resume and application and was interviewed on the spot. Told me some small facts about the company and some secrets as well as asked me a few memory based questions.
I was invited to a group interview then afterwards I was called for a seasonal job offer. I accepted it and thats how I got the job

Question 1
What do you sell at a store if you don't know anything about their products?
I applied online. I interviewed at GameStop (Brooklyn, NY)
Interview
Easy and casual interview. The person doing the interview was really nice which made the process go pretty smooth. It didn’t really feel like a typical comprehensive interview given how short it was. I think they were just trying to fill an open role ASAP.
It was an informal scenario-based situational hypothetical situation with a semi-scripted correct answer type format. Super casual and friendly, initially with the assistant manager, then with the store manager, and eventually a phone interview with the regional manager
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GameStop (Philadelphia, PA) in Aug 2024
Interview
It was easy but they were slow to respond. Questions very basic, attitude and what customer service means to you. That kind of stuff. I didn't get a call or any follow up until I called them again.
