We thank this candidate for their thoughts on their interview experience with Sonocent, and we are sorry to hear that they feel dissatisfied by having not received detailed, personalised feedback following an initial screening call.
That being said, this review is an unfair reflection of Sonocent's processes and treatment of interviewed candidates. Despite receiving a high amount of applicants on a daily basis (and being a very small recruitment team), we respond to every single candidate after every stage of the interview process, within a short time frame.
We receive high volumes of candidate applications which means we conduct short 15 -20 minute phone screenings. Unfortunately we are not able to provide tailored feedback after each phone screening - one person can be making up to 30 telephone interviews in a week. We do however, provide candidates with feedback to let them know the outcome of the call, usually within 48 hours. This is a standard industry recruitment process and in comparison to most companies (especially small companies who do not have robust recruitment departments and excessive resources), we go above and beyond to make sure every person who has applied, screened or interviewed is contacted.
We are fairly certain of who this candidate is and we have never received a complaint before - in fact many candidates are kind enough to thank us for our speed on coming back to them, and also for taking the time to call them after face-to-face interviews. Several weeks ago this candidate raised concerns and highlighted that they wanted further feedback. A detailed and lengthy response was compiled in which I (the People & Culture Manager), offered twice to provide further feedback over a call as the candidate seemed extremely unhappy with the outcome - the candidate never responded to this offer.
Sonocent is extremely mindful of candidate experience and our interview process focuses on giving a great candidate experience, each and every time.
This review is particularly unfair and extremely disappointing as a lot of time and effort has already been put into trying to ensure that this candidate is satisfied. This review is not a true nor accurate reflection.
