I can't say enough good things about the people I interviewed with. They all appeared to genuinely enjoy their jobs and were all very friendly to me. The review as fully remote due to COVID-19, so I only met them via video call (my video was required to be turned off to avoid any sort of bias), but they were all very easy to talk to and interact with. Kudos to GMU to hiring what appeared to be a solid staff.
I think my biggest disappointment in the interview was the fact that all of the questions were very scripted and "by the book" as far as interviews go. I don't mind a few of the cliché questions every now and then, but everything felt like they were just reading canned questions rather than trying to get to know me as a person.
