      Purchasing Analyst Interview

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Georgia-Pacific in Oct 2008

      Interview

First, there was an intial call from a recruiter that worked for GPC that contacted me telling me that he had found my resume and would like to talk to me about a position. I went through some questions with him and he stated that he would contact me within a week and advise me on moving forward. Well, it was almost a month and I finally got a call back to come in and meet with some of the subordinates within the department I was interviewing for. I scheduled and interview and went there having to stay all day and talk to every single person dealing with that area. Next, after rapping up the interview, i met with a HR rep who asked you a few questions and stated that if you are chosen you will come back for a second interview. Just thought the interviewing was a big waste of time and if you feel like you cannot meet that person's salary requirements being asked and really don't know by the initial first time meeting them that they are not the right candidate for the position don't waste your time or his/her(s)...simple as that!
