I approached a professor by col-email and was asked about my research interests. I was then referred into the UAP Program and got the position. I was asked about my project and work experience.
One on one interview over zoom. Very relaxed. No need to prepare if know your stuff. Good experience. STAR questions are asked. Tell me about a time... Give a difficult situation... etc. etc. etc.

Two rounds of interview with hiring professor, mainly focusing on research topics and experiences, then it's just going through HR for paperwork. Very dependent on the interviewer (hiring prof), was done through zoom
