      Buyer Interview

      19 Jul 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Budapest
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Givaudan (Budapest)

      Interview

Advertised on company's home page, seemed.like a great modern and processing company. After sending the CV, HR reached out that was a pleasant experience. Following phonecall, test and video interview came. Video interview is with future lead that was a turn off. Many companies are open minded and leaders follow the trend. Also there is a mutual respect that I didn't sense on the interview. The lady was either a beginner lead or very unprofessional. If it was this one position open I would not work for Givaudan. The future lead was deminishing, pretended not hearing the questions and continued the interrogation. Even from 2018-2020 the interviews more like a get-to-know process and not a process like this where you get all the info from the candidate but you literally not willing to respond any questions just carry on with yours - that you also already answered only she could not hear out. I know it was years back when she had to interview but this is very offensive now. I hope they found the right submissive employee. At the beginning I was hoping to get an offer 30 mins into the interview I wanted to quit and run away from this mindset of leadership.
