I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Glassman Wealth Services
Interview
Super unorganized, had to basically remind them that I was waiting on next steps each time since I didn’t hear from them. After the third interview I had to reach out again to get a response that they were going in another direction. During the process they asked me what weaknesses I have. I told them what my natural weakness was and how I actually turned it into a strength and how I did it/ examples. When I asked what I could improve on and what qualities I was missing, they gave me an answer of that weakness, which was kind of shocking considering I had clearly made sure they knew it was now a strength of mine since I paid so much attention to it in the interview. I replied and tried to clear up the confusion on their end over that, the person clearly hadn’t paid attention and then tried to give another reason I wasn’t chosen. They said that I didn’t reach out to the other advisors I had interviews with and thanked them for meeting with me. At that point I absolutely knew they had no clue what was going on since I had sent follow up messages to each of the advisors I met with.
I had long been a follower of Glassman wealth and was excited to interview with them. Unfortunately the whole interview process showed me they are not who I thought they were and there are definitely issues with this firm. It wasn’t until a few months later that I heard about the issues the firm had and my experience with the hiring process alone really proved those to be true.
