I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at GlobalData (London, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
This was during lockdown so all over Zoom & Telephone.
I was initially approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn and then had a 2 telephone interviews followed by a zoom interview.
The interviews I had were fine and the people all lovely. The issue I had was with the recruiter.
He would consistently call out of the blue (I have a full time job) and then proceed to follow up with a LinkedIn Message and an E-mail.
I eventually asked him if he could schedule his calls with me as I was often busy with my job and when he did, he was always late or missed the scheduled time. He would follow up by then ringing again out of the blue.
This was all over the space of about 6 weeks so a very long process overall. I ended up withdrawing my application purely on the basis of the recruiter.
First it was a call to state interest in my profile, and then a three step process. Two sets of interviews with regular questions about my cv. The second one was in three sections, first with some Directors, and then a couple more with different team members. Last step was a technical interview to test for Excel and English skills
