      Senior Associate Interview

      30 Oct 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Palo Alto, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GlobalFluency (Palo Alto, CA) in Feb 2012

      Interview

Interviewed with Derek and Kevin Sugarman - both very friendly and still there. One phone screening and 2 in-person interviews. I was asked to speak with the director of the PR division before I came in for a meeting with the VP, Derek, about a week later I came in and met with 3 team members in their large conference room, it wasn't scary, they are all VERY friendly, they had some hard questions that I outlined below, but they were valid questions. I was offered the job about 2 days later, put in my 2-weeks notice, and started about a month after I made first contact.

      Interview questions [4]

      Question 1

They were concerned about how long my commute was. They also wanted someone who could write longer technical articles.

      Question 2

They were concerned with my lack of experience with CPGs - they had a lot of CPG public relations clients.

      Question 3

They also want people that can handle the daily client relationships - most of management of focused on new business and they don't have the time to micro manage.
