Outright I was told that there’s very little chance that they’d offer me a role after the internship no matter how great I would do there. And that the previous intern was offered to extend her internship contract at the same role with the same pay (which im not sure if that’s even legal). Essentially from what I understood, they need someone to fill this role permanently, but they don’t want to pay a living wage so they will keep hiring interns. I was asked questions that lead me to believe they expect you to stay overtime. The interview was directly with the manager and I was told that Talent Acquisition was too busy to conduct interviews so they had to do it themselves.
