HR teams screening, who then emailed me some bogus "personality test" I had to complete. After I did it, I was scheduled with one of the company's owners. The interview went well, and I was even shown internal dashboards. When I sent my thank you email after, I received a personalized email back with the following:
"Your insights and understanding of our processes, team dynamics, and company culture were impressive and align well with what we're looking for in this role. I'm excited about the potential of having you on our team."
This gave me false hope, and a few days later, I received an AUTO-rejection letter. So disheartening and disrespectful.
I applied online. I interviewed at Government Business Results
Interview
Opaque and disorganized interview process that included a pseudoscience personality test as a basis for determining fit.
I was told I'd be moving to the next round, only to receive a request outside of the explained process followed by a standard rejection weeks later before even meeting a decision maker as promised.
Both interviewers I did speak to mentioned that things were hectic and there were big personalities in play that were sometimes hard to wrangle, which makes sense if you read other reviews.
I hung in there because the manager seemed amazing, but everything else is a red flag.

Question 1
How far I was in the process of interviewing with others. You know, so they could get me in front of someone as promised.

Interview
After the application, screening questions, and interview, I was given an "offer" with no information about compensation or terms (which weren't covered at any point). The manager was evasive about answering standard questions that should be on any contract, then suggested the job was no longer a good fit.
Freelancing is vulnerable and the lack of transparency surrounding the position is a concern.

I was asked about my requested hourly rate, then told that the projects are a flat rate (which wasn't disclosed).
