      Producer Interview

      8 Oct 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gravity Well in Nov 2024

      Interview

This was honestly one of the worst interviews I’ve had in my career to date. At first, the conversation started off well, it felt open and genuine, and I appreciated hearing about the studio and the role. But as the discussion went on, the tone shifted. Instead of feeling like a two-way conversation, it started to feel like an interrogation. They asked very few questions about my actual skills and experience, and instead focused on topics well outside my area of expertise. The atmosphere came across as a bit of a “boys club,” with them casually using nicknames for each other during the interview. I left feeling humiliated and embarrassed but in the end, I’m genuinely thankful they passed on me.
