I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Greenhouse Software (Tallahassee, FL) in Sept 2021
Interview
The interview process first deals with a resume screen, then phone interview with a potential colleague, followed by an interview with the potential manager. After those initial rounds, I was tasked with presenting a software/app to others in different departments, spoke with a separate team about culture add, and then a separate department representative concluded with case studies that parallel the role to which I was applying. The final interview will discuss nuanced efforts regarding communication, collaboration, and time management with my would-be direct supervisor.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name a time in your experience in which you had to multi-task competing priorities between what you were working on and something new being asked of you?
I applied online. I interviewed at Greenhouse Software
Interview
My interview process was enjoyable and my recruiter was super communicative. My questions were answered and I knew what I was interviewing for. However, it was a bit challenging to balance the work required for interviewing with my current role, and in some ways the process seems designed for those with time.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Greenhouse Software (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2022
Interview
Several steps that can feel long winded but the people participating in the interviews made it feel natural and flow easily. Phone interview, interview with hiring manager, presentation assessment and final round is panel based with 3 steps 1. Case Interview 2. Present assessment submission 3. Company culture alignment these would include ±5 people. Entire process plus time taken to create presentation could easily add up to 5 hours upwards so time management is essential during interview phases.

Question 1
Q; As an implementation consultant how would you handle a client not meeting onboarding milestones
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Greenhouse Software (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied for the role via LinkedIn and was invited shortly to an interview with the recruiter.
1.The screening interview was very pleasant and efficient, mainly about your previous experiences and how they relate to the job you are applying for + a few questions around salary expectations, notice period etc. (Thank you Julianne !)
2. If you did well you should hear pretty soon from the recruiter with the second interview with the team manager. They will be interested to see how you handle conflicting priorities and if you work well cross functionally (have some good eg. ready) + hear your motivation for the role. (Thank you Laura Anne !)
3. If you are successful, you’re going to be invited to create a home assignment. I would put a bit more effort in the presentation and focus on having a good structure. Bring something new, maybe some visuals elements to support it.
4. If they like your presentation, you will be invited you the final panel interview that can take 3 to 4 hours.
During this time you will speak with the team manager one more time and will get a lot of “tel me about a time” questions. Have some good examples prepared.
After the team manager, you will speak with 2 people from different but related departments. You will do the presentation of your home assignment to them.
This one was a little tricky as they will mute themselves and you will go through your presentation in 10 min. I would have loved to hear more about their roles but the time was very limited. Some tips: organise the presentation very well, give examples that support it and make sure you have answers prepared for the Q&A part.
The last interview was about the company’s values with two different people from different but related departments. Have a think about those values and how they might tie into your past experiences. I was so happy to research these values and see how supported the employees are within Greenhouse! (Thank you Rory!)
I really enjoyed the interview process even it was long (about 3 weeks). I liked the challange of the home assignment and the idea of meeting people from
different departments. I was so impressed to hear that the employees within Greenhouse can sign up to become a culture add interviewer to avoid bias. 👍
