Interview
I sent my resume to the store that was hiring via the guitarcenter.com website and was contacted within 3 days to come in for an interview. I was interviewed and offered the job on the spot as long as the criminal back ground check was clean, which it was;). It was a pretty thorough interview process, including a knowledge test, 1 on 1 interview, background check, and drug screen.
Simple and fair - they stressed the importance of being able to multitask and have the ability to deal with several people at one time. There is a lot of pressure in this role.
