I applied online. I interviewed at H-Wave (Huntington Beach, CA)
Interview
I applied they called me a couple days later for interview. It was a group interview and they just asked us about or resume. We were called back for individual interviews as well.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at H-Wave (Huntington Beach, CA) in May 2019
Interview
A phone interview followed by and in person interview. The second part began by a computer test that was more of a personality test. I met one on one with one of their managers who was delightful. It was a very professional and first class environment. No tricky questions. Several days later I received a phone call for a follow up. I met for the second interview with two people who would’ve been my more direct supervisors. They explained more about the position and gave me a chance to present my case and also ask questions. Again it was a very friendly almost conversational type environment. The employees of this company genuinely love working there! Within four days I received an offer. Wonderful benefits but the salary was a little below what I was looking for. Regardless I almost accepted because of the incredibly professional and friendly environment. They are a first class organization all around.

Question 1
What makes you a good fit for this position over other candidates.?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H-Wave (Costa Mesa, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
I am not one to post negative reviews. However, I also think that there is a common courtesy that should happen when applying for jobs. I applied online and was contacted by an outside recruiter. Had a great interview with them. I was invited back on two separate occasions to meet with the staff. I have a full time job and had to take time off work to attend the interviews. I was told the final step was to meet the CEO so we scheduled another interview. Same day as the interview I got a call from the recruiter and they had to push it back due to a scheduling “mishap” I obliged and the day before the second attempt at meeting the CEO I got an email stating the interview was canceled no real explanation other than they are cancelling the position. I had to do a lot of juggling with my schedule to make it all happen yet last minute they cancel the position worst treatment I have ever experienced. I also sent a follow up email to those I met with to see if they would give me some sort of an explanation yet I received no response. It was truly insulting the whole process as if my time means nothing to them. In the end I am certainly glad it happened as I would not want to work for a company that treats people this way.
We are sorry for your recent interview experience with H-Wave. We are committed to improving our process, and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for your feedback, and we will work to better to communicate moving forward.
