Just wanted to share this feedback, so that such actions are corrected in future. I had taken up an interview for the Lead Writer position with HCL. Had to take up following rounds of tests and discussion: 1. Written test at HCL, Chennai. 2. Discussion with a team of writers. 3. Discussion with Documentation Manager. 4. Discussion with Group Project Manager. 5. Telephonic discussion with CLient, Bangalore. 6. Written test at Client site, Bangalore. 7. Discussion with a writer and an Editor. 8. Discussion with Documentation Manager. 9. HR discussion. The initial written test was on 13-Apr-2015. And the client interview happened on 11-May-2015. After all these rounds, I was told that they will not be able to match my monetary expectations on 11-Jun-2015. I had specified my expectation during the initial discussion itself. They should not have called me for further discussions if they will not be able to meet my expectations. All these process had taken more than two months of my time. In the mean time, they had asked to upload so many documents. More than time, I had put in lot of effort and had to anxiously wait and wait to finally know from the Group Project Manager that they will not be able to even match the current salary. Thank you Marx for making me understand that I am being paid well in the current organization. Moreover, the Group Project Manager had persuaded me to travel to Bangalore in a span of two days to take up the Client interview. He also mentioned that the travel bills will be reimbursed. It is close to two months now and I am yet to get any update on the status of my reimbursements. I have never thought HCL to be such an unprofessional organization or is it just one of experience which I had to undergo. Whatever, I request the concerned people to act efficiently.
