I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HCLTech (Bengaluru) in Aug 2011
Interview
I was mostly asked HR based questions and few technical questions.
It lasted for about 45-60 mins. They did not drill a lot. One has to be very thorough with the concepts.
The interview process was simple and beginner friendly. Most of the questions were basic Java concepts, discussion about projects done in college, and a simple coding question. The interviewers were friendly and focused more on understanding problem-solving approach and communication skills rather than asking very difficult technical questions.
