I applied online. I interviewed at Halo Charity Events in Jan 2023
Interview
Definitely friendly, first interview was very vague on pay and what the day to day would be. Seemed like it was all a sales pitch to be honest. I got to the second interview only to find out I would be trying to ask for free money.
Can't describe what to say. Even they contacted me without me applying. I don't remember the application so I really don't know what to say. Maybe they were just impressed with my resume.

Interview
When arriving at the interview you hand your resume to one of the employers and wait for your interview to begin. When starting the interview process the manager was very friendly, but not in a professional way. The whole process felt like a sales pitch instead of an interview. I was asked a couple of typical interview questions and then after that, he went straight into pay and the company's history. After looking it up on my own I could not find much on the company online which is a little unsettling. When asking about the specifics of the jobs he described it as "adult girls scouts" which in my opinion doesn't give much appeal to the jobs; all in all it feels like you're just asking people in public places for donations from what I understood and the way it is explained seems a bit fabricated with the use of the words "organizing charity events." I am all for start-up businesses, but the initial impression wasn't the best, the paint job in the office was horrible and to a point where it is very unpleasing to the eye and on top of that when you first arrive there is music blasting in the back of the office. Overall, not a great experience.
Another thing to note is the amount of hours you would work for very little pay, practically $11 an hour.
