The interview process at Handshake really stood out to me. The internal recruiter I worked with (Samantha) did a great job setting up and scheduling everything despite managing a cross country move. I was really impressed with how responsive she was and how she often checked in after each round. The interview process was well laid out and most importantly was respectful of everyone’s time. They were also flexible when I disagreed with certain aspects and worked to change things. The individual interviewers across all the teams were well prepared and asked great questions about my background and what I cared about. I always enjoyed the conversations we had and it never felt like an interrogation. I thought they did a great job in surfacing my technical skill set along with understanding me as a person.
