Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Harris County District Attorney's Office in Jun 2025
Interview
Interviewed by a panel of interviewers. Applied for a post-bar fellowship position and then again for an ADA when I passed Bar. Standard interview questions. Seemed to be more interested in my personality, how I worked amongst a team, and if I can handle a heavy workload. Asked me to prepare a closing argument for end of my interview. I received a conditional offer but chose to go another way.

Question 1
Why do you want to work here?
Name a time you had conflict/worked with someone you didn’t get along with. How did you handle that?
Applied online. It was 1-2 months before I heard anything back. The interview was scheduled and we spent just under an hour on Zoom discussing the job and my qualifications. There were 9+ people entering and leaving the Zoom conference and on their phones, but I always had the attention of the main 2 people doing the interview.
It was another 2 months before I heard back from the Zoom interview. From there, it was another month before I was given an offer. 4-5 month process. But everyone was kind.

Question 1
Why do you want to work as an ADA?
Are you willing to work late or weekends as needed?
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Harris County District Attorney's Office in Mar 2021
Interview
You will be asked to give a brief closing argument for a hypothetical DWI trial in your interview. If you are coming from outside the Houston area, they will ask you about your interest in Houston. They will likely also ask about your interest in prosecution. About six people will be in your interview, and mine was on Zoom.
