I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA) in Aug 2012
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward and enjoyable. My first interview was with HR, then the Deputy Director, and then the Managing Director. All were smart, interesting people who were easy to chat with and asked interesting questions. The HR person told me "I think you'd be a great fit for this job" which was very encouraging!

I applied online. I interviewed at Harvard University in Jan 2022
Interview
I applied for a job at one of their research centers. First interview was a screener call with a center staffer. They were not very knowledgeable about the position. Frankly this interview was pretty boring, with standard questions like "tell me about your work style." Second interview was with center staff and much more interesting. Harvard should do better for their recruiting. I almost withdrew application based on how boring the first interview was.
