      I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Headstrong (Noida) in Feb 2016

      Interview

      I received a call through a consultant. Then they told me that your CV has been shortlisted and Genpact Noida technical team wants a technical discussion with you and first round of technical discussion was scheduled. I received the call on time and it was good discussion, interviewer asks me most of the basic question on java, spring and hibernate he looks satisfied and confirmed me that there would be second round with you. I received a call from consultant again, she say congratulation you have cleared first round and now there would be one more detailed technical round. She asks my time slot availability I told some time slot to her and she fix second round. I received call on time and interviewer ask me question in one hour interview as much as he can ask. He discuss my current project and ask about data security on cloud, NoSQL, Java, Hibernate, Spring, Messaging, Integration, Performance, Scaling, Enterprise Architecture , Data Analytics, DB migration and many more. I answered well and suggest some solutions for his problem what he was facing in his current project. He looks very satisfied and confirms me that I am positive about your profile and we required people like you on board. Next day I received a call from HR again she say there is a recommendation of Skype or VC call for last and final technical round. She fixe it but no call was there. I update her that there was no call. She reschedules it again but no call. After 15 days they call me again and ask whether I am still available or not I told her, now I have one offer in my but I am ready to continue with your hiring process, if you give me better offer then I can consider. She put ask me to be connected and put me on hold after discussion she come back and say they would like to have one Personal round but I was in Hyderabad so she ask me for video conferencing from Hyderabad office and fix the time and date for VC and ask me to reach in time to Hyderabad office. I reached there but VC System was not working so they mange a telephonic call. The discussion was based on current project, practical scenario and problem solving. The interviewer looks satisfied when I come back to my work place I received a call from HR saying congratulation and confirm that I have been cleared all technical rounds now there is a HR round it is nothing but just formal discussion and salary negotiation etc. For next day she fixes the Skype call with HR. I received the call after 30 min of scheduled time and immediately connectivity lost. Then HR calls me on phone say that there are some problems in my laptop so trying to connect with my tab. She calls me again using her tab and discuss my current role and responsibilities and most boring question of HR why you want to change? Why you want to join our company? Why we should hire you? What is your current package? What are your expectations? How soon you can join us? Do you have any offer in your hand I replied yes I have then she asks the offered figure? I answered well on all the questions and she told me that I am asking to hiring team to complete the process. I was expecting offer but no call and one week pass away I send SMS and write the mail at least let me know your response you engage me for more than one month but no response and not picking the phone no answer of mail complete darkness. I could not understand what was wrong a) My voice what she listen in Skype call b) My face or 3) The figure I shared with her I would like to advice them please don't play like that with sr. people and show some professionalism and provide status even hiring or not hiring. HR department have a big scope of improvement. HR department is really pathetic.
