How did you handle a difficult situation in a prior role?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Health and Disability Commissioner in Aug 2022
Interview
Interview was fine, pretty standard questions, and then a written assessment of you responding to a complaint scenario (which noted on the document that you didnt need to do research for that section, and all the information you need is on the page).
When i got the phone call back from the interviewer to tell me I hadn't gotten the job, she asked if I wanted feedback. I said yes, and she essentially told me I'd be too much work to train, and they couldn't be bothered, and that I hadn't researched my written assessment. It was pretty obvious from her tone that she thought I'd wasted their time, even though all the reasons she listed for not hiring me were ones I had told her I had minimal experience with.
Dodged a bullet, basically.
