I applied online. I interviewed at Hera Lighting (Norcross, GA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Three round of interviews plus a personality test. The interview process was very thorough. I was encouraged to ask questions to fully understand the position and company. I appreciated that
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hera Lighting (Norcross, GA) in Jan 2012
Interview
The interview process was lengthy, and I believe that is a positive. The company is thorough in their approach to hiring people. The challenge is leadership will promise everything to you on the front end, but they have a tendency to "restructure" your compensation. The restructuring will result in you getting paid less. The commission is not clear cut. Leadership has complete and total say on who you get paid on and how much. There's a lot of crossover amongst your sales peers on customers/projects, and that's why there's discrepancy. You also may feel like you're in competition with your peers, and that can be frustrating at times. The atmosphere in the office is very cold and stiff, and there's absolutely no reason for this. This is a small, successful company that appears to have a ton of money considering the size. I believe in striving to be the best, but the environment should more positive than it is.

I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Hera Lighting (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Straight forward. President recruited me over time and was very slow to make an offer. So, the process was quite through and we got to know each other very well. They want to insure both sides are making a good and educated decision. I felt I was judged more by the questions I asked than the other way around.
