Phone interview followed by an in person interview and two sample lessons. The sample lessons were with actual students of the academy. Questions were fairly straightforward interview questions. Sample lessons were more difficult to establish credibility with students immediately, find out what repertoire they were playing, and offer helpful suggestions for them to improve it all within a 30 minute lesson.
