5+ interviews that took over 1 month. I only received updates when I reached out to them. Nice people - long process. Final interview with a senior manager. He said that we clicked & I checked all the boxes. He felt I would be receiving an offer "soon". It never came.

This company offered me a job after 4 interviews over the course of a month. They gave me a start date and explained the training process. The official offer letter took a while but I was reassured that everything was ready to go and it was waiting on the CEO signature. I started reviewing candidates to replace myself in my current role because they gave me a start date along with the verbal offer. A week after the verbal, I received a call that the offer was rescinded. When I asked for more information or feedback on my performance, they provided no constructive feedback and they couldn't give me a clear reason as to why they rescinded the offer. I write this review to warn anyone starting a job with this company to only trust it when you see it in writing.

The recruiter was great at the beginning. He called and texted to confirm I received I meeting links and he followed up via email right away. I did three interviews with HomeTown. After the last interview, I was completely ghosted. I texted (as I had been texted several times previously after interviews to follow up) and asked about a timeline to fill the position, and got no response. It’s been over 2 weeks since my last interview. If, during interviews, you make it clear you’re looking to fill the position quickly, follow up. Don’t waste a candidate’s time by leaving them high and dry. If I didn’t get it, just tell me that. Recruiters need to stop ghosting people.
