I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Honest in Jan 2023
Interview
The entire process progressed smoothly through all stages, from the initial interview to the offer. It's worth mentioning that instead of boring algorithm sessions, they conducted a creative live coding session related to the home task. The home task itself was related to the company's domain and was quite interesting. The remaining steps were quite standard: system design and culture fit rounds, where you had the opportunity to speak with C-level executives.

Question 1
Design a rule engine to process user applications.
I applied online. I interviewed at Honest (Bangkok)
Interview
This company seems to be a hub for incompetent engineers from India who couldn't crack interviews in good companies in their own country so moved to Bangkok to group together, do politics and ruin a company. When I checked employment history of the interviewers, all of them were from India (To clear out that I am not being racist: I am also from India), and they all worked in some maintenance/support projects in some worthless organisation.

Question 1
They asked some design questions. Most unprofessional interviewers and not even skilled enough to be an intern.

Our company values are Honest, Hardworking, and Humble, and reflect the traits we seek in employees. Unfortunately, not every candidate aligns perfectly with all of our values.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Honest in Sept 2023
Interview
The interview process went really well. Everyone I met was smart and friendly. They made sure I felt relaxed and answered all my questions. They didn't ask any tricky leetcode coding questions, which was great because those tend to be irrelevant. Overall, it was a fair process, like what most companies do nowadays: interviews with managers, coding tests, and talking about how to design systems. I also had some casual chats with people like the lead product and top executives. It seemed like they were getting to know me better, probably before making a job offer.
