I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hopsy in Jun 2019
Interview
I had an initial phone screen with the hiring manager. I then had video 1:1 interviews with the hiring manager, two team members, and the CEO. After this call, I received my offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you made a mistake in a professional role, and how you learned from it.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hopsy (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2018
Interview
Fairly casual. Met at the Hopsy facility in Chicago. We looked over the facility and the filling system that the job would supervise. Talked quickly about benefits. Sounded like a great job and felt positive about receiving an offer.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hopsy (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
Phone Interview. The only reason I am even writing this review (clearly no one looks at this company considering the lack of reviews) is so other people can see my ridiculous interview experience with the worst CEO in Silicon Valley.
So, we have the phone interview, typical interview questions, and I answer questions regarding sales experience accordingly. I start to ask questions about their sales process and growth etc (as anyone in sales would do to understand the role) and I'm being told FROM THE CEO that I've asked to many questions and felt I was interviewing him instead of me.
THEN...please keep reading haha... he hangs up the phone abruptly, and messages my friend whom I was referred from, and says this "I can't believe you sent her to come and SPY on our company!"
A SPY?!??! Never in my life have I been in an interview and, someone, ESPECIALLY the CEO, write an extensive email how he suspects i'm a SPY and trying to steal his "business idea"
Just felt like i should write this as I actually thought it was hilarious someone who owns their own company would actually be so insane and paranoid about someone with a couple years of sales experience, A SPY?!
Anyways, hope this helps future people!
