Applied for the role via an agency (Metaskil). They were very slow in actually getting me a telephone interview, despite trying to chase them up. During the interview, the interviewer said something which very much offended me. He suggested my alleged disability gives him doubts on my application. How dare he say that given that he doesn't know me, whether or not I am truly disabled and what legally constitutes a disability?! Disabled people have reduced confidence and a hard time finding employment due to the provable discrimination that occurs, so for him to cast reluctance on my application due to his unprovable assumption was extremely wrong. His remarks were discriminatory and UTTERLY unacceptable.
After the interview, the agency didn't actually confirm whether a face to face interview would take place, despite assuring me they would and despite me following up! It might be because the unscrupulous interviewer at Hubio discriminated against me based on his untenable assumptions. Shows you how unreliable and unprofessional both parties are. VERY.
Do not waste your time with Hubio or recruitment agencies. The former's company suffered a near 400% drop in net worth between 2013 and 2014! It gets worse, because their financial liabilities have ballooned by over 200% during that year alone!
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Hubio Fleet (Camberley, England)
Interview
The hiring process was a technical phone interview and then a longer more in depth face to face interview (which seemed to wiss by). The whole process took less that 2 weeks which was brilliant. I think the fact that the hiring team were technical which lead to a much more engaging interview.
