I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Hyperloop One in Feb 2017
Interview
With the company still in the startup phase, I can understand the delays, but when it takes three and a half months and multiple instances of the hiring staff forgetting to contact me, at that point I can say the hiring processes is unorganized and inefficient. My second technical interview (where I was asked no technical questions) I found that the department I was interviewing for had no interest in hiring interns at all. I'm sure Hyperloop One would be a great place to work, but after being strung along for that long while trying to start off my engineering career, it was a bit off-putting. Maybe that's just start-up life. I do wish this company the best as it tries to revolutionize transportation.

Question 1
What previous experience do you have with Hyperloop?
What started off as a promising interview for Hyperloop Tech quickly degraded into one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever encountered in my career. For the phone screen, she scheduled a time slot in which I was unavailable for. However, because I believed so much in Hyperloop's mission, I decided to break my plans to take this screen. The recruiter didn't even call me at this agreed time! We had to re-schedule to another day, in which she called me 15 minutes late. I have not heard since from the recruiter. In my experience, the process of an interview really reflects the culture of the company, and the whole process just felt extremely sloppy to me.
