I went through a screening phone call with the Director of HR and then invited, a week later, to a one on one with a Director of Operations. Both interviews went well and I felt they were responding positively to my answers.
I was then asked to complete a skills assessment for project management. I thought to myself "this is weird, doesn't my track record of success and my career count?".
I perform the assessment and it takes me the greater part of a week. about 36 hours. I perform a complete end-to-end setup of a fictitious project including communications with a fake client.
I wait a week. Hear nothing. I reach out to the Director and he invites me to come to the studio to walk through my assessment. I do and he says he likes it. There are no issues. It was a great conversation. On my way out he says he wants to introduce me to the CEO.
A week goes by, I hear nothing. I reach out and am told I need to meet with the person who created the assessment. She's in Amsterdam. I meet, walk through my project. She says she likes it and I did well.
Next day the job I have been interviewing for over the past 6 weeks is posted on Linkedin. I hear nothing. Ghosted by the company.
