Pretty standard interview process. 30 minute phone screening, and a 3-4 hour in person interview with various members of the team. Most of the questions were common behavioral and work history questions. Describe a problem you had and how you overcame it. Then there is a short excel quiz. If you know how to create a pivot table and calculated fields you'll do fine. Finally I was asked to analyze various google keyword campaigns and give insights as to which ones were doing well / poorly and why. I enjoyed meeting everyone on the team. They were professional but friendly. Most of the team had been working there for an extended period of time so you could tell they were happy working with the company.
So why the negative review? Well my recruiter game them the salary range I was looking for prior to the phone screening and they said it was fine. After wasting a bunch of our time, I found out the low end of my range was 15k over the high end of the position's salary range. I liked the team so I told them I would be willing to come down 10k if they went up 5k. The team's manager agreed but out of nowhere the CTO stepped in and said she needed to interview me. She asked me phone screening questions over the phone for 15 minutes then told my recruiter she didn't have enough information to hire me. She wasn't even part of the process until nearly two weeks after my in person interview. She says she needs to meet with the team but she doesn't take care of it and goes on vacation for 2-3 weeks. They never got back to me after that. Not even a thank you for coming in.
