Thank you for the nice things you said about Alan and Krish. They are great guys.
It was quite the day you came in because it was lunch time and during the holidays.
We do have an HR department, not a large one, but one nonetheless.
I'm sorry if you felt we were not responsive enough. I did send an email to you saying we had pushed the hire due to the holidays. I could have followed up with you more quickly there. My apologies.
Last thing I would mention is that I care about the employees and the clients a great deal. Coming from an account manager position, I understand the roles inside and out. I've been an intern, a marketing manager, a Director, you name it. So for me employee well-being comes first. On the other end, I also feel when I make commitment to a client we need to deliver. So these are things we work to balance.
I wanted to let you know you were my top choice until the hire was postponed. We are hiring again now.
I actually did not hear the joke you are referring to. I think you may have told that to another team member.
