Illinois Marine Towing interview questions

I submitted an application, and was called in for an interview within a few days. I live 8 hours away. I was called on a Wednesday. They set up an interview for that Friday. At the interview, they seemed excited to hire me, and even went over what position I woud be hired in at, what I would be getting paid, 401k options, etc. After I went home I eagerly awaited their phone call. After a week of not hearing from them, I tried to call them. After the second week I finally got in touch with them to find they decided to hire someone else and didn't think to contact me.
