My interview experience with INC42 was frustrating due to the lack of internal clarity and alignment throughout the hiring process.
The process stretched across multiple rounds over several weeks, during which the scope and expectations of the role seemed to keep evolving. This made it increasingly difficult to understand what the organization was ultimately hiring for, suggesting that there may have been internal misalignment around the role itself.
To accommodate the interviews, I had to take time off from my current job and invest significant effort across several discussions.
Despite progressing through numerous rounds and investing considerable time in the process, the outcome was simply a brief email stating that my profile would not be considered further, without any explanation or feedback.
Given the time commitment involved and the number of conversations that took place, it felt as though the direction for the role may have changed late in the process, leaving candidates who had already invested substantial effort without any clarity.
A hiring process should ideally be structured and internally aligned before engaging candidates for extended interview cycles.
Overall, a disappointing and exhausting experience.
