I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Industrial Press (Norwalk, CT)
Interview
I was called a few days after submitting my resume and was pre-interviewed on the phone before I was given the opportunity to come into the office. Two days later, I was greeted warmly by a receptionist and then brought to the publisher/owner who was very kind and accommodating. The questions were fair and informational. Then I was introduced to one of the editors to get more specifics of their exact need. I was shown manuscripts in production. As the process went on, I didn't have the technical background required to edit the manuscripts they were working on. Overall it was a positive experience and we both came to a conclusion it wasn't a match.
