I was put forward to IV by a recruiter, who did a good job of providing an overview of the company and some of the benefits etc. Very shortly afterwards, I was invited to an initial screening interview with the Exec Assistant on the team (which was explained beforehand). As you'd expect from a 1st interview, the questions weren't specialist-focused or deep dives into experience. They were more around experience levels, competency, aspirations and some candidate-focused questions (starting to ensure that interviewees would fit in with the well established culture within the business). Throughout the call, the interviewer was nodding along, politely saying "thank you" after each question and smiling. I was subsequently invited to a 2nd interview with the two Directors, in which we covered more detailed questions about my experience, more specific compentency based questions, about me as a person and potential training I'd want to do (something that IV are clearly keen on). Again, both interviewers were friendly, talkative and volunteered some interesting information on the company (which you don't often see in Directors). They even offered for me to meet 2 other team members, who are already in a similar position to the one I was interviewing for - which I was really keen to do (it wasn't part of the interview process, but was suggested to help me understand the role, the company culture etc). Both Senior Digital Marketing Execs were exceptionally easy to get on with and volunteered a lot of information about the business. They had extremely positive things to say about the business, highlighting the brilliant team, the ongoing training and the variety in their roles - even though it means they're kept busy! Meeting them definitively showed me that what I'd been told by the recruiter, the Exec Assistant and the Directors wasn't just talk. It helped to reinforce exactly what I'd come to understand about the company, their culture and their values. Although I haven't, and don't, work for Innovation Visual, it's plain to see that they could provide a great opportunity... for the right candidate.
