7 months is a long time between your Interview and the feedback you have posted here. In that time, we've come a long way. We do have a new recruiting agency that we are very fond of and I'll apologize for any unprofessionalism you may have received from our former agency.
As for the redundancy, I'll say that is in part by design. We are looking for people that are both highly qualified and will be a good fit for the team. As such, we have multiple people do interviews that may be asking some similar questions. We have 3 parts to hiring. 2 half hour interviews and a final one hour interview which has a very high percentage of hiring as we've usually narrowed candidates down to 2-3 finalists. Our final interview is always some element of what your job will be. We give you a real company with fake data. We're less interested in the exact answers and more interested in your thought process in putting together your answers. We're growing fast and are building an incredible team. If 2 hours of meetings and 2-3 hours working on an assignment for which you have a 33% or better chance of getting the job is too much, we're probably not a great fit. We have a great work-life balance, 100% health insurance, higher than average pay, the opportunity for options, and a strong vacation package. This, too, has improved since your interview over 7 months ago.
All this being said, we're not perfect. We are constantly trying to improve our process and do take this kind of feedback to heart. We thank you for considering us, we apologize for the experience not being what you would have expected, and will always strive to be better.
